Planning PV with South Facing
For a simple way to comply with the local planning on-site CO2/ energy requirements, the Merton Rule and Breeam regulations talk to us about our PV solutions. South Facing work closely with designers, builders and consultants and contractors to integrate PV into the development. We offer a wide range of PV solutions – from modules on pitched frames to adhesive thin film solutions on single Ply Membranes. See PV Products
In many cases we are called on to add PV systems as a remedial measure to help a non-compliant buildings discharge planning obligations. If you don’t already have SBEM calculations for your project we can recommend an experienced assessor. Once you have SBEM or energy usage calculations we can quickly put together a quote for a PV system that will achieve the requirement.
A Built in income from PV
Owners of buildings equipped with PV systems will receive an income for the electricity generated under the new Feed-in Tariff. This is a new law that pays a premium price for every unit of electricity generated from PV –fixed and guaranteed for 25 years. More about the Feed-in Tariff
