Objective
To generate solar PV electricity and CO2 savings
The client is a leading light in the farming community and chairs a regional farming sustainability group. He wanted not only to demonsrtate his commitment to the environment but also lead the way for others to follow. The roofs on the farm are either unsuitable due to the their asbestos coverings or shaded by mature trees.

Solution
An open site was identified near the farmhouse to build a small ground mounted Solar  PV plant and South Facing designed and installed the PV system in line with the LCBP grants programme that at the time was paying a 50% grant

Result
The Solar PV system has consistently delivered 10% more energy and CO2 savings than expected over its 5 years of trouble free operation. For all types of agricultural buildings or farming sites, a solar pv system will cut your farming energy costs and reduce carbon emmissions.
