Objective
To generate electricity and CO2 savings.
The farmer wanted to generate an income from his Solar PV system with the Feed-in Tariff, especially during the summer months, to offset his high energy use during that time. With no suitable roof space an open site was identified near the farmhouse to build a Solar PV plant.

Solution
South Facing designed and installed the Solar PV system to be just under the 10kwp tariff band threshold

Result
A cost effective Solar PV system that will generate more than 10% return on investment per year. A solar PV system for all types of agricultural buildings will provide both an energy saving, and with the feed in tariff, a guaranteed income.
