A 100kWp system would cost 100 people around £3250 each and generate income and savings of around £330per year – a 10%+ return – requires a roof area or nearby unshaded site of around 825m2.
A 10kWp system would cost 20 people around £1900 each and generate income and savings of around £175 per year – a 8.5%+ return – requires a roof area or nearby unshaded site of around 82m2.

A 100kWp system requires a roof site of around 750m2 and a 1MW plant requires around 7500m2 or and can generate a return of 6-10% or more.
