With a similar pattern of 'sun hours' to most of Germany, PV systems in the UK can deliver similar energy yields.
Solar energy is by far the most abundant energy source on earth. Unlike most conventional forms of electrical energy production, solar power comes from a free and inexhaustible source. PV installations make no noise or harmful emissions and can produce clean electricity for over 50 years.
Because PV systems only need daylight to operate - they generate power all year round.
