New school solar glass facade commissioned

SouthFacing installed and commissioned the new solar glass facade at a Cambridge school this weekend, to meet the FIT deadline
The bespoke PV glass consists of vcells lamiated between toughened glass – each unit weighing over 75kg. The system although only 2.1kWp in output reinforces our reputation for specialist installations. “Few companies can demonstarte specialism in such a wide range of specialist PV solutions” commented Clive Collison, South Facings MD. “Although installaing regular PV modules is the bulk of our business, complex systems that require specilaist engineering solutions are where South Facing really excells. We have been engineeringg solutions for over 8 years now and relish these challenges”.
