Ground Mounted Systems
Modules are mounted on an optimally orientated frame for maximum performance and return on Investment. Additionally, ground mounted systems perform better than roof mounted systems due to the improved ventilation cooling the modules in hot conditions.
Ground Mounted systems are generally used for solar parks in open ground or where there is not enough roof space or where the roof offers poor orientation. Pergolas, Canopies and Car Ports can provide an ideal structure on which mount PV systems and provide solutions where roof space cannot offer a viable solution.
Tracker Systems
Tracker systems follow the sun throughout the day, capturing every drop of radiation available. Dual Axis trackers can generate up to 20% more electricity than a static system of the same rating. These are used in southern Europe to maximize Feed-in Tariff returns..
