2 kilowatt system consists of 12 modules, will cost around £11,000 and supply 1,700 units (kilowatt hours) of electricity per year - around half the need of the average UK home. With a maximum grant of £2,500 you would pay around £9,000. This would prevent a ton of carbon from entering the atmosphere and could save £250 per year.
5 kilowatt system will cost around £25,000 and supply 4,250 - 4500 units (kilowatt hours) of electricity per year. With a maximum grant of £2,500 you would pay around £22,500 abating 1.7 of a tons of carbon and saving up to £630 annually.
